What is the admission process at Utrecht University?

To apply at Utrecht University as an international student, applicants must follow following steps:

The application for one of the undergraduate programs at Utrecht University is done online via the StudieLink platform. Each program has its own application schedule.

 

Deadlines may vary depending on the selectivity of the program or the need for the applicant to apply for a visa to study in the Netherlands.

The application for a Master program is also done via StudieLink. Here, the applicant’s identity document and a record of previous studies must be added to the application. Transcripts from each academic year completed, a CV, a cover letter, two letters of recommendation, and English proficiency test scores should be included.

All applicants must pay an application fee in order to submit their application.

Once the application is submitted the admission office will review the application. Based on prior education and if the applicant fulfills the requirements, the admission office will make a decision regarding the applicant.

What is the tuition fee at Utrecht University?

There are two types of fee at the university in Netherlands. One is institution fee and other is statutory fee. One of the two applies to each student.
